It's okay to start with a decent "hot" wallet. Some people buy a dedicated, but inexpensive computer which they only use for running their "hot". the answer is obviously trezor with passphrase for multiple coins, coldcard for btc only. all other options have no longevity or reputation like. I don't care if it's hardware or web based. I just want the most secure one. I have a ledger nano but there were apparently some security.
Safest you want wallet software wallet, Reddit go with Electrum. Just make sure you bitcoin it directly from their website bitcoinlove.fun and do a checksum.
